Dr. Campbell opened his solo practice in Marion, Ohio in April of 1997 after two years of practice in South Carolina. He strives to be prompt with regard to patient’s appointment times respecting that people have more to do than wait for hours in a doctor’s office. Dr. Campbell is the only physician in the office providing you personalized healthcare for your special needs.
Dr. Campbell is the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at Marion General Hospital and a Member of the Advisory Board for all outpatient surgery at Ohio Health’s Medical Campus. Member of Ohio Health’s Robotic Steering Committee severing Riverside, Grant, Doctors, Dublin and Marion General Hospitals. Dr. Campbell also serves as Chair for the System Robotic Surgery Resource Allocation Sub-Committee.
Dr. Campbell has privileges for surgery at Marion General Hospital, Marion General outpatient campus, New Horizons Surgical Center and Grant Medical Center.
Dr. Campbell graduated from the Ohio State University where he received both his undergraduate degree in human nutrition, honors program, as well as his medical degree. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Carolina, School of Medicine. He was invited to serve as a clinical instructor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and as a liaison for the Department of Family Practice. Dr. Campbell is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His expertise includes laparoscopic surgery, obstetrical and gynecological surgery, bleeding disorders, abnormal pap smears, pelvic pain, gynecological and obstetrical ultrasound as well as preventive care.
A native of Marion, Ohio and a graduate of Pleasant High School, Dr. Campbell resides in Marion with his wife and two children.
